Poland Bans Online Poker

22/06/2011, Online casino

President Bronislaw Komorowski of Polant has signed into law a decree that bans some forms of gambling, including online poker. The ban will become law by mid-July.

After several months of political wrangling, Poland has defined online poker as one of the "hard games", or games that are considered addictive and that can imply the possibility of cheating.

However, it was not specified if the ban include the poker tournaments. Polish online poker players are banned from playing at foreign websites.
